Ruther Health + Wellness respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect through this website, why, and what we do with it. It covers the website only. The handling of your medical record is governed by HIPAA and by the Notice of Privacy Practices you receive at the clinic.

What this site collects

If you submit the appointment request, the benefits check or the pain check on this site, we receive what you typed into it. That can include your name, phone number, email address, date of birth, ZIP code, insurance details and a short description of your symptoms. We collect it so that we can call you back and answer your question.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Text messages

If you tick the consent box on the appointment form, we may text you about scheduling. Consent to texts is never a condition of receiving care, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses two analytics tools to understand how people find and use it, so we can make it work better. Both set cookies (or similar browser storage) and collect technical information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, how you scroll and click, the site that referred you, your device and browser type, and your approximate location based on your IP address.

• Google Analytics (Google LLC) measures visits and page views in aggregate. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) records how visitors move through our pages, using heatmaps and session replays. We have set Clarity to mask what you type into our forms, so your form entries are not recorded. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement for how Microsoft uses this data.

We use this data only in aggregate to improve the website. We do not use it to identify you personally, we do not use it for advertising, and we never send the contents of our forms (including anything about your health or insurance) to these tools. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work.

• Netlify hosts this website and processes form submissions.
• Elfsight renders the Google reviews widget on this site.
• Google Maps renders the map on our contact and location sections.
• Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity measure how the site is used, as described above.
