Weeks 1–2
Pain
Calm the pain down.
Hands-on techniques calm the irritated nerve and take the edge off inflammation, starting your very first visit.
What We Treat
The stiffness standing up off the couch. The twinge that decides whether today is a good day. Pain that shoots past the knee. We find what is driving it.

Why It Happens
Your back does not hurt for no reason, and it is almost never one thing. It is usually some mix of an irritated disc sending pain down the leg, spinal joints that got stiff and stopped sharing the load, deep stabilizing muscles that quietly weakened after the last flare-up, and daily habits that keep reloading the same spot before it heals.
None of that shows up on a quick glance. It takes a cause-first evaluation to sort out which one is actually driving your pain. That is why rest, ice and a generic stretching sheet so often fall short: they treat the symptom, not the source.
The Honest Truth
Nobody regrets starting too early. Every week, someone in our clinic says they regret waiting.
How We Fix It
Every plan has an endpoint. Here is what the four phases look like for back pain and sciatica.
Weeks 1–2
Pain
Hands-on techniques calm the irritated nerve and take the edge off inflammation, starting your very first visit.
Weeks 2–6
Prime
Targeted mobility work restores motion in the stiff segments that have been quietly guarding the injury.
Weeks 6–10
Perform
Progressive core and hip strengthening builds the stability your spine was missing in the first place.
Weeks 10+
Prevent
Lifting, sitting and training in a way your back tolerates, plus the early warning signs worth acting on.
She’s helped me with IC, plantar fasciitis, back pain, foot pain, knee pain. I love that she explains the why and how during each visit so it makes sense.

Told to rest, stretch, and wait it out
Meaningful change for most people inside 4–6 visits
Questions, Answered
Usually not, and it is rarely the first step. Most back pain improves without imaging, and scans routinely show disc bulges and wear and tear in people with no pain at all, so an image does not always point at the cause. We start with a hands-on evaluation, and if imaging becomes genuinely necessary we will help you get it.
In most cases movement helps more than rest does. Hurt does not always mean harm, and total rest tends to leave a back stiffer and weaker, which sets up the next flare. The difference is doing the right movement at the right stage, which is exactly what the evaluation is for.
Most people feel meaningful change within 4 to 6 visits. A full plan runs through all four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform and Prevent, typically over 8 to 10 weeks depending on how long you have been dealing with it. You get a plan with an endpoint, not an open-ended string of appointments.
