What We Treat

Bladder and bowel dysfunction treatment in Holland.

Straining, urgency, never feeling finished. These are pelvic floor coordination problems far more often than they are diet problems.

Sound Familiar?

Does this sound like you?

  • Straining, and still not feeling finished
  • Planning your morning around whether things will work
  • Urgency that arrives with no warning at all
  • Going to the bathroom just in case, several times before leaving
  • Tailbone pain or pressure with bowel movements
  • Being handed a fibre recommendation and nothing else

Why It Happens

This is usually a coordination problem, not a diet problem.

The pelvic floor has to relax for you to empty properly, and contract on cue to hold. When that coordination is off, you get straining, urgency, incomplete emptying, or accidents, regardless of what you eat. Childbirth, pelvic surgery, IBS, endometriosis and prostate problems all disrupt it.

Fibre and water help. They do not retrain a muscle that has forgotten how to let go. A cause-first evaluation identifies which part of the sequence is failing, and that is what we treat, without medication and without surgery.

The Honest Truth

Straining is not neutral. It has a cost.

If you keep waiting

  • Chronic straining increases the load on the pelvic floor and can contribute to prolapse
  • Urgency shrinks your world one cancelled plan at a time
  • The longer the pattern runs, the more retraining it takes to change it

If you start this week

  • You know the actual cause by the end of visit one
  • Hands-on relief starts before you leave the building
  • Many people notice change within 2 to 4 weeks

Nobody regrets starting too early. Every week, someone in our clinic says they regret waiting.

How We Fix It

The same four phases. Built for bladder and bowel.

Every plan has an endpoint. Here is what the four phases look like for bladder and bowel dysfunction.

Weeks 1–4

Pain

Calm things down.

Hands-on work to release tension and spasm, plus the immediate mechanics of how and when you go.

Weeks 4–8

Prime

Restore coordination.

Retrain the relax-and-contract sequence, which is the actual missing piece for most people.

Weeks 8–12

Perform

Build resilience.

Graded strengthening and motility work so normal function holds under a normal life.

Weeks 12+

Prevent

Keep it from coming back.

The habits, positions and routines that keep this working without you thinking about it.

Most people who come here have already been somewhere else. The difference is not effort, it is the evaluation: we look for what is causing it, then build a plan with an endpoint.

What people ask before booking for bladder and bowel dysfunction.

No. We use gentle hands-on techniques within your comfort level, alongside biofeedback and exercises. Internal work is only ever done with your consent, and comfort comes first at every step.

Many people notice improvement within two to four weeks, with continued progress over six to eight. It depends on how severe the symptoms are and how long they have been running.
